Intro to Embroidery for Adults

This is a listing for an in-person class at Thornwood Schools introducing embroidery to adults. This short survey will be held Saturday, August 15th from 9am to 3pm. We will go over the basics of hand embroidery and will include all materials to make a small "sampler" with at least ten stitches covered. This course will also include some of the hilarious history of stitchery and how it has been used throughout history in remarkable ways. Adults can feel free to "bring your own adult beverages" as well as lunch or snacks if you wish. We will have tea, soup, bread, and whatever fresh produce I have in my garden available to munch through the day.
