Amanda is a retired Montessori teacher, and she incorporates her educational philosophy into her craft and lifestyle. She is the founder and owner of Thornwood Schools. A lifelong fiber artist for over 30 years, she enjoys hand embroidery best, but loves all kinds of hand crafts and folk arts. She respects children as our greatest gifts, appreciates the work of our hands, and believes in the power of community and the importance of social justice.
Sadie Blue Beck
Sadie Blue Beck is a master of technicolor and whimsy. She enjoys a variety of mediums in her art from multimedia collage, sculpture, and even plant design.
